Nothing happens by chance. Nothing happens without a reason. Maria was born and raised in Mexico City, one of the busiest and most populated cities in the world. Thanks to this non-random causality that exists in life, Maria, ended up in Boone, North Carolina, where she fell in love with the woods. While in Boone, she was introduced to the wonderful work of Brian Froud. Since then, Froud has been an inspiration to Maria. The beautiful Appalachian forests awoke her interest in the ferric realm. She has become a fan of nature ever since. With her soul stolen by magic beings, Maria expresses in her art a world that doesn’t exist for many.
Once more, this causality has caused migration towards the north, along with these beings. By admiring the majestic nature of Canada, a small forest was born, “La Forêt De Garmilla”, which expresses itself in the language of magic.
